DID YOU KNOW that if you want to buy a house of R750.000.00 your monthly income should be R28.000.00 per month? And if you want to buy a house of R500.000.00 your income must be R20.000.00?

Now tell me, what average man on the street is earning R20.000.00 per month?

Most government workers don’t even get paid that much.Way I see it is that the only people who will afford a decent house, are the members of parliament. The same people who have decided on the new credit act. What gives parliament the right to decide how and what you can afford with your hard earned money?

I would say that the average man earns from R4000.00 per month to about R10.000.00 per month. So you tell me, how and what kind of house can you buy for your family with that kind of money? Now the other thing is that you will not qualify for a government house either, cause you then earn too much.

So what can you really do with your money?

Rent a house for the rest of your life?

Car sales are down, furniture sales are down, the estate agents market is down, which means that there are thousands of people already out of work.

But, the food prices are up, fuel price is up, your electricity bill is up, rates are up, water account is up, car licenses are up, and school fees are up.

A bottle of cooking oil now cost you R17.00 in the shop, which has cost you R12.00 a bottle 6 months ago.

So I would say that you will have money, but you can’t spend it.

Not on a house, a car, a decent school for your children, decent clothing or decent food on the table.

DO YOU STILL THINK THE GOVERNMENT IS HELPING YOU?

If you already bought a house 2 years ago, then you are safe. But think about the people who want to start a life or a family.

I do not see a decent future for them.

We have had no say on the new credit act, no say on how crime should be combated, no say on the rising food prices, fuel prices, and etc…

The government also decides on the death penalty while our loved ones get slaughtered by the day.

I think it’s time that voices be heard and not ignored.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

They might rule this country, but we make this country a country, and we should have a say.
